Description sdc.blanco 2023-06-16 20:56:42 UTC
In Navigator panel, there is a "Navigate by" combobox. Press F1 with any item selected in the combobox, which opens [1].

"Recency" is not explained on that page (or anywhere else in online help, afaict).

Confirmed with 7.5.4.2.

Noting that Recency should be explained in the "Navigate by" section and not in the "Content Navigation View" table.

... and the discussion in bug 115817.

Jim, I am testing it in a current daily build but it seem it only cycles through 2 positions, and the "Go Forward" button is never active. (testing from the Navigator.)

Is this currently broken?
And how would you summarise the feature for the Help pages?

I think gtk3 is having issues when 'echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE' is wayland. When it is x11 it seems to work as expected. Also, for me, vcl plugins, qt5, qt6, and gen still work as expected.

Please see comments made in gerrit.

I reported bug 160731, it's actually a regression.
