Have an .ods doc with over 18,000 records, and normally autofilter works well. This last time I turned it on for a single column as usual, but then the app wouldn't stop filtering even though it showed no filter was on. Wouldn't stop filtering even after a restart of app. I was only being shown 284 records out of 18,523. That's scary.

There were no warnings, and I didn't do anything while using the filter that I hadn't done before. Even if I'd absently clicked another column implying that I wanted to additionally filter the results of the last filter (doubtful but possible), these filters still should have indicated they were ON and I should have been able to turn them OFF.

I'm sorry that I don't know the steps to reproduce it.

Eventually I solved it by turning autofilter ON in my ID# field, set for All records. That showed them all to me and everything seems good now.

Actual Results:
None. Couldn't reproduce.

Expected Results:
Couldn't reproduce.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Couldn't reproduce.

Can you attach a sample file?, it's difficult to test in other case.

Please test in safe mode Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode.

"1. Replying to your addr bugzilla-daemon@bugs.documentfoundation.org bounces, even though that's the addr showing that you replied to me from. I had to find and then copy your addr from just above "What" in the table below to be able to reply to you.

2. File attached. This file is showing me (on my Libre Office version 7542) only 904 records out of 18,552.

The filter is still ON in this version of the file that I've attached. I eventually removed it and did a Save As so I'd still have this filter-ON version to send you.

Just like last time, it took me a while to remove. Turning off the autofilter didn't do it, filtering for All in a column with unique field values didn't do it, restarting the entirety of Libre Office didn't do it. (Also when I quit Libre Office to restart, I got no prompt to keep or remove the filter, but that might be a nice feature to have.)

Eventually I removed the filter by 'magically' filtering the correct column. Now I don't remember which column it was because I tried several.

Thanks.

Vara"

I don't attach your file, I don't know if it is fine for you made it public.

The file doesn't have a filter active.

Maybe you have hidden some rows without notice.
Click on the blank corner top-left (between columns and rows)
Then right-click on any row number.
Select 'Show rows'
