When a docx file with headings is printed (only tested on brother printers) the text in the letters in the headings all overlap (potentially the an issue with kerning)

2. Print to printer

What kind of headings do you mean? If it's the styles Heading 1, Heading 2 etc. - then I can't reproduce! And I have a Brother printer.

I suspect the issue is more with your print driver (or rather, print driver + desktop environment + operating system). Have you seen this on other printers? When printing to PDFs?

Yes I mean the styles Heading 1, 2, 3 etc.

I didn't have another printer to test this on, but it didn't occur when printing to PDF. It also didn't occur when printing to the printer from PDFs.

There are ways to capture the print job data: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems#Capturing_print_job_data

Maybe it would be interesting to see the resulting file.
