Description wibrst 2023-07-02 04:48:37 UTC
Description:
As summarized, I opened my odt file and selected [Export] from the [File] menu. Then I selected JPEG or PNG from the [Save as type] option and saved it to a local drive path as a jpg or png file. However, the resulting file displayed distortion when opened.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open my odt file and select [Export] from the [File] menu.
2. select JPEG or PNG from the [Save as type] option and saved it to a local drive path as a jpg or png file.
3. open the resulting file.

Actual Results:
displayed distortion

Expected Results:
displayed normal as it was shown in the original odt file

Reproducible: Always

I see now, sometimes the obvious is the more invisible.

Seems it's something with the style 'TTC-Chapter', because using their parent style 'TTC-bottom-prompt' seems it works fine.

Can you test deleting 'TTC-Chapter' style, and creating it again from'TTC-bottom-prompt', doing every change at one step, and testing the result of export. Would be nice to find what modification produces the issue.

Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded

Reproduced in recent trunk build:

Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: a1a1d8edb9d4a62b747aa7069b3026e2ba75704d
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Already reproduced in libreoffice-5.2.0.4 (using linux-64-releases bibisect repo). In 5.1, text wasn't shown at all in PNG export.

It's the characters' font effect "Relief: Embossed" which is problematic.
