Description Moshpirit 2023-07-18 18:42:25 UTC
Description:
This bug goes away on safe mode, it's a user configuration after pasting the official Arch LibreOffice user configuration on Flatpak user folder and overwriting everything. I don't know if this should be understood as a bug, but it's information, so the worst scenario is closing this bug, and maybe someone with the same bug finds out about the user folder "fix".

When using LibreOffice Calc from Flatpak, the pop formula helper from AutoInput hides the formula.

It goes away if clicking.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Tools → AutoInput to check it's enabled (it should be enabled by default)
2. Open any cell
3. Go to the formula box and type "SUM("

Actual Results:
The pop-up hides the formula

Expected Results:
The pop-up appears under the formula

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

I've just found out that it's the registrymodifications.xcu file what's causing it. I use a single toolbar interface. When changing it to other interfaces, it doesn't happen anymore. Any way to fix this while keeping the current configuration? I modified many things there.

Hi Moshpirit,

I am marking need info because I can see your screenshot and with that behavior I would call it a bug if I could reproduce the problem.

At least my version as below however is not producing the same behavior.

As you see from the screenshot - the help pop-up is showing up on the top of the formula bar even with a single toolbar interface, but not covering the formula bar.

I am frankly quite new to this and may be missing something that you inherit using Flatpak - but again I'm just not seeing it so maybe help with any more detail?

Are you able to attach the registrymodifications.xcu file?
