See the two attached PNG, a picture says more than a thousand words, but if you insist:

Expanding the dialog box resulting from the "fx" button on the Cals formula bar expands the white space on the right half of the resulting pop-up, rather than the text boxes that contain the formulae, which is of course utterly useless! 

And FWIW, there are several more, I'll post them when I encounter them again, occurrences of the same issue in other UI elements.
