Hi Elmar, I am marking this Resolved: Notabug. At first my thought was like Rafael's in that it was not reproducing - but then I: 1)manually made the Format Cells dialogue box really long; 2) closed the dialogue box; and 3) reopened the dialogue box. The manual size increase persisted through open and close and open again - so my only guess is that's what happened. If you try to make the dialogue box normal size using the manual size controls and the issue persists please come back perhaps with more information and I'll check it out. Thank you!
Used this version for my tests: Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 77fca616e0bd79e0b405fd0b3543cf8e94e15df3 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Can confirm that. Last weekend I upgrade Linux Mint Cinnamon to the latest version. Had straneg behaviour so I reverted to previous OS version and problems went away.
