Description:
Dates for the year 2000 do not format correctly when entered as xx/xx/2000.  Formatting is set to the form January 10, 2000.  Unlike all the other entries for other years, it does not format correctly

Actual Results:
Date formats as 01/10/2000 when it should format as January 10, 2000.

Expected Results:
01/10/2000

Can't reproduce. From your description I deduce you are using the English (USA) locale because 01/10/2000 for January 10 matches the locale's default MM/DD/YY date format, and have a cell formatted to
MMMM D, YYYY
in which you enter 01/10/2000. That displays January 10, 2000 for me.

Hi Bob,

I am marking need info because ... well ... I think I need some clarifying info.

You do have an older version than I'm using (my version is below).

But see attached for a screen snip showing the formatting working correctly for the date you entered on my system.

That said, Could you possibly make a similar screen shot and attach it here for review?
