Created attachment 188716 [details] The procedure to reproduce the problem
Thank you for the report, Ola. I tested with: Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 47ca3f1f762352b488d58b3bf23d5776576f1cca CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded - Regarding the text changing to blue underline, what happens is that the character style "Internet Link" is automatically applied to a hyperlink, so the replacement of the red colour is expected. That character style can be modified to change the look of all links, if needed. (There are also link colour settings in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Application colours, which could interfere, but those should be off by default.) - Regarding selecting the two spaces, I can do that without problem. However, I can reproduce the other issues as you describe them: a. selecting both links, can't change to any font colour. b. selecting one link, can change font colour but not to the original Dark Red 2. c. after attempting to change the colour to Dark Red 2, if I remove the spaces, then add a space again, the two links turn red.
I checked up on issue of selection of the two spaces: Selection right to left is OK, but when I try left to right the cursor changes from vertical bar to a hand - no selection takes place. Instead the disk icon at left bottom turns red: the document har been changed although it still looks absolutely the same.
