Description: Multiple files open in Writer version 7.5.5.2 Select File --> Close on one file, and Writer shuts down closing all other file windows. Start Writer back up and it presents the option to "recover" the files that closed automatically. If you hit yes, it doesn't actually recover the file but reverts to some previous version from more than a day ago causing lost work. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Have multiple files open 2.Select file --? close one file (Writer shuts down and closes all windows) 3.Start Writer again 4.Select files to recover 5.Get angry when the file is from 2 days ago and you lost work that you actually had saved. Actual Results: The recovered files are not the latest version. It's like recovery means go back in time to some previous save point and trash the actual most recent save. Expected Results: I would expect "recovery" to mean: the program shutdown suddenly, so we saved everything just to make sure you didn't loose anything. Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.5.5.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: ca8fe7424262805f223b9a2334bc7181abbcbf5e CPU threads: 20; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22621; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
How do you have set up: Menu/Tools/Options/Load&Save/Save If backup option is enabled, then recover is for the version at opening the file.
