In a document with: 1. Multiple consecutive numbered paragraphs 2. Changes involved adding and/or removing paragraphs 3. Possibly, changes involving the list style for some Heading styles 4. Acceptances of many changes including some of the above I sometimes see a phenomenon in which there's a numbering change indicator, e.g. something like: 45. [ 43. ] in light-blue font. Selecting that region, there are no changes to accept (which is as it is supposed to); and if I toggle Show Tracked Changes off, then toggle it back on - the change indication is gone. This is quite tricky to reproduce, so I don't have an easy reproducer right now.
Not sure, but might be related to feature from László Németh in LO 7.4 [1]. László, can you perhaps assess, if described behaviour is expected one? cc: László Németh [https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/7.4]
Marked the wrong version when filing. I saw this with: Version: 7.6.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 69edd8b8ebc41d00b4de3915dc82f8f0fc3b6265 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US but I vaguely recall seeing this earlier as well. Sorry I can't provide decent details here.
I created a test document following what you listed, I can see the light blue numbering changes, but toggling "Show" off and then back on brings them back as expected. However, if I accept all changes, the numbering changes remain; then turn "Show" off and back on, they disappear. I think this is the same issue as bug 153291. As we're lacking more precise / consistent steps, let's mark as duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 153291 ***

I'm so glad we have you to take the time and help with triage/bug care.
