Viewing the same document in two windows in Writer is messed up in at least three ways: (i) Echoing bug #70216, one cannot set one window to View: Normal and the other to View: Web. (ii) One cannot set one window to 80% zoom (to maybe get three pages displayed next to each other on a widescreen monitor) and the other to 100% (to maybe get only two pages displayed on a laptop screen). (iii) If one has two windows open, both in Normal view, and you switch one to Web view, one of the windows just gets closed. None of this is what a reasonable user would expect to happen.
Actually, there is a fourth way in which this is messed up: If one looks at a document in Web view, one cannot even open a new window -- why not?!
(i) you pointed to the bug yourself. (iii) and (iv) is bug 60129. I couldn't find a dupe for (ii) - so this bug should be focused on that. But what specifically do you mean by that? I can put different normal-view windows to different zoom levels, and they stay that way in Version: 7.6.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: f5defcebd022c5bc36bbb79be232cb6926d8f674 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded P.s. Please, in the future do /not/ put several problems into one issue. Every issue must *help* developers to track problems, not confuse triagers, developers, other users with the depth of the reporter's knowledge of multitude of different problems. Thanks!
