Please attach a sample file, and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is an icon to copy.
not sure what you mean sample file? - you want my database??
Your database, obviously cleaned from private data, and reduced to only one table where the issue can be reproduced, or any other where the issue happens, and so knows about database type, etc. to allows someone analyze the possible bug. BTW, please paste here the information on Menu/Help/About LibreOffce (There is an icon to copy)
Also, what's the database type used? (HSQLDB embedded, Firebird embedded, MySql, MariaDB, Postgresql)
Created attachment 189518 [details] A small database file Hope this is what you were requesting.. although the fault happens on all the files I have tried
(In reply to Julien Nabet from comment #4) > Also, what's the database type used? (HSQLDB embedded, Firebird embedded, > MySql, MariaDB, Postgresql) HSQLDB
Thank you for your feedback. On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this. We can add a field at the end but not at middle. Since I could also reproduce this with LO Debian package 7.5.6, let's put version to 7.5.6
This has never worked, as far as I can remember, ever since that menu entry was added. Pretty sure this has been reported before.
Looks very much like a DUP of bug 71224.

@kermit999 : this bug was recognized 10 years ago, and nothing has happened since. That should give you some idea of the relative lack of developer resources / interest available for the database part of the LO project.
