Thank you for reporting the bug.
it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

In Step 3 you mean to click "New"? (not "Next")

If so, I cannot reproduce the issue in:

Version: 7.5.6.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 50(Build:2)
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.2; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+wayland)
Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu package version: 4:7.5.6~rc2-0ubuntu0.23.04.1~lo1
Calc: threaded

I update to a newer version, as suggested, and the problem has been remedied.
