Description web 2023-09-18 13:27:10 UTC
Description:
I created a presentation in Impress and saved it as PPTX. In preparation for giving the presentation I saved it as PPSX. When I opened the latter in Impress it went to the slide editor, not the presentation desktop. When I tried to open it in PowerPoint it said it was unable to open it as the file extension had been changed. I then opened the PPTX file in PowertPoint and saved as PPSX there and all worked well in both PowerPoint and Impress.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create presentation in Impress
2. Save as PPTX (optional)
3. Save as PPSX
4. Open PPSX file

Actual Results:
File opens in edit mode in Impress. File does not open in PowerPoint.

Expected Results:
File opens in presentation mode

Reproducible: Always

Could you give a try to a recent LO version (eg: 7.5.6) ?

I don't like to change software versions in the middle of a project.
