Description: For some documents I don't like to fix the page count as it is physical but as displayed numbers of the last page number. For that I use a cross-referenced page number field. In LO 7.6.1.2 this works faulty. - Version: 7.6.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 60(Build:2) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 4:7.6.1~rc2-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~lo2 Calc: threaded Steps to Reproduce: My document has physical 5 pages, 2 pages intro and 3 pages content. Now I want to insert in the footer: page 3 of 3 pages. For that reason I insert a (non printable) frame at the bottom of page 3, insert therein a page number field. This page number field I define as a cross-reference (set reference: LastPage). When I set the reference an additional field shows up right beside the page number field (which is a bug). Then I insert the cross-reference in the footer. Problem: The remaining superfluous field in the frame will hold the number and not change; after deleting it the entire cross-reference is broken (also in the footer). Actual Results: see above Expected Results: see above Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: On LO 7.4.7.2 and on OpenOffice 4.1.14 there are no problems for cross-referencing page number fields.
