Description Andrew 2023-09-22 09:34:59 UTC
In LibreOffice Writer, starting about a week ago, when I click on a line which only has a paragraph symbol on it, Writer adds several spaces without me instructing it to do so.

I must use ctrl-z or delete to remove them, before I add text or paste what was intended to start at the beginning of the line.

Looks as if Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice Writer/Formatting aids/Direct cursor was enabled.

Please, if not the case, reopen it.

And please, when report add all the information requested.

You were right.

I did not alter Options, so an upgrade must have automagically altered it.
