Description nik 2023-09-24 17:17:13 UTC
Hyperlink to a PDF_file WORKS properly, while in the LibreOffice environment; but does not work if the Writer Doc is Exported to a PDF (on the same Drive, haven't checked other situations). Caio, Grumpie

Hyperlink to Open a PDF file works properly when in the LibreOffice environment. However, if the Writer Doc is Exported to another PDF file, the Hyperlink no longer works. A message Pops Up indicating that teh Link will be Opened in a NEW App. Accknowledging "OK" results in a mefssage indicating Open FAILURE. Ciao, Nik

I could not reproduce in:

Version: 7.6.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: f5defcebd022c5bc36bbb79be232cb6926d8f674
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Wondering if this is related to this macOS-only issue in bug 144488.

Can you please:
- share you full version information copied from LibreOffice > About
- give more details on how to reproduce, e.g.: how did you insert the link to the PDF? Which PDF export options are you using?

Thank you!
