Description: When having a row in libreoffice calc with formatted currencies, for example german formatting 123,33 € at A1 and I am searching for 123,33, I get the position at A1. If on the other hand, the value is 123,30 € at A1 and I am searching for 123,30, I get a not found error, because LOC omits all zeroes at the end. Now I could of course search for "123,3", yet this will result in "123,31" "123,36" "123,39" etc. if available aswell. In other words, you need to enable search in the way it's displayed "123,30" and not just how it's stored "123,3". Steps to Reproduce: See above Actual Results: See above Expected Results: See above Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: See above
Please attach a sample file, so someone can test on it.
Enter 123,33 in A1. Enter 123,30 in A2. Format all as Currency. Search for 123,33. Search for 123,30. Search for 123,3.
IIUC, the simple answer to this support question is: [CTRL]+[H] > set the check box named "Formatted display" as (checked) ON, and perform the search. This site is for bug reports and enhancement requests. Please next time ask support questions in adequate sites, such as the user mailing list, or at https://ask.libreoffice.org . I am closing this as invalid now. If, for some reason, there is really a bug to report regarding this feature, please set the report back to unconfirmed and explain it in detail, with relevant steps, actual results and expected results.
It works, but how should I have known that?
