Description Elmar 2023-09-28 10:23:19 UTC
Description:
The sidebar shows multiple layouts.
There is no way to set the control defaults
For example, for side-by-side text boxes, I cannot set that the position and size should be fixed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create new slide
2.select side by side layout
3.

Actual Results:
have to set defaults for the text boxes (excepting title

Expected Results:
should have a way of defining these or inherit from title & single content layout.
consequently, when paragraphs exceed depth of box, simply overruns, and does not shrink the text

Reproducible: Always

Project provides 16 predefined slide 'layouts' (main menu 'Slide' -> 'Layout' menu; or Sidebar 'Properties' deck 'Layout'). They are fixed and can not be modified.

If you need specific sd Text Box layouts beyond those defaults, you need to work with a template set, create your range of slide templates with Text Boxes and text/paragraph formatting laid out as needed.

Save-as a ODF Presentation Template (.otp), open that template and your range of slide layouts will be available to fill or copy/paste into a presentation.
