I have a logitech M720 mouse. I tried remapping some buttons in the logi options software, and it worked for chrome, but not for libreoffice or libreoffice calc.
I tried remapping the left and right wheel push buttons to zoom in and out, but no luck.

Remap didnt work in libre office or calc.

Thanks for the report, Richard.
I understand you use "Logi Options+" to configure it.

Please test the latest LibreOffice release, currently 7.6.2.1, and make sure you have the latest version of Logi Options+ too.

If that doesn't help, people have had success using alternative software to configure their device, which could be worth trying. See for example: https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/writer-scrolling-issue-with-logitech-mouse/14065

Thanks - I have the latest version of libre office and logi options+

The issue seems to be that logi doesnt detect that libre office is the active application, so it uses the default logi button configuration rather than the libre-specific configurations.

From what I understand, the software does not support LibreOffice: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050312134-Logitech-Options-supported-applications

Someone else mentioned it's a shame Logi Options+ does not support mapping to LibreOffice commands: https://www.computerweekly.com/blog/Inspect-a-Gadget/Logitech-MX-Master-3S-for-business-MX-Keys-combo

So closing as "not our bug" as it should be implemented on Logi Options+'s side.
