Description Donald Lowe 2023-09-29 14:03:21 UTC
Description:
Footnotes consistently not saved whilst using .odt format. (Other formats not tested.)
Footnotes saved within a Table not saved since installing version 7.
Especially this issue noticed within a currency column, but also text columns.
Reformatting the column (Table | Number Format | Currency) deleted all previous footnotes in that column.
Versions 7.5, 7.4 & 7.3 exhibited the same problem; latest version 6 works okay.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a Table in Writer with several columns; format one column for currency.
2. Populate the columns with text; and add currency amounts in the currency column.
3. Add footnote(s) at end of currency amount(s); save the document (.odt).
4. Re-open the document and check if footnotes are saved.

Actual Results:
Footnotes added were not saved.

Expected Results:
Footnotes added will be saved (as with version 6).

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Footnotes should have been saved.

Since the problem has gone in version 7.6 it seems to me that someone has fixed it with no backport to version 7.5. So let's close this report.
