Description Sergey Suprunovich 2023-10-02 12:24:21 UTC
Description:
When I try to find the Ukrainian Cyrillic letters "й" or "и" via the "Find and Replace" dialog box (Ctrl-H), the LibreOffice writer finds every instance of "й" or "и" instead of the requested one.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ctrl-H
2. Type in Find field: й (or и)
3. Press "Find next" button

Actual Results:
Regardless of which letter is searched, the program finds both "й" and "и".

Expected Results:
If I search "й", then I find "й".
If I search "и", then I find "и".

Reproducible: Always

This is what "Diacritic sensitive" checkbox is for. The "й" is a Cyrillic character with a diacritic [1].

This is not a bug.
