A simple round-trip of IZENPE, S.A.IS 504989.Pres.En.doc by MS Word 2010 "fixes" the problem. LOW PRIORITY

There is only a single image in this document - if the positioning is fixed on that image, then everything flows properly into place. MS Word places it 1.02cm across and 24cm down. Definitely not AS_CHAR.

But the spec says that this 0x01 indicates an AS_CHAR, so I'm not sure how MS Word can know not to import this as an inline image.
