If you select multiple drawing objects on an Impress slide, the sidebar properties deck grays-out the direction buttons (LTR/RTL) - while not graying out paragraph properties like h-alignment, spacing etc. That shouldn't be the case, and one should definitely be able to the directions of multiple objects.
I can't see those direction buttons, even with the RTL UI turned on with SAL_RTL_ENABLED=1 Are they supposed to be in the Paragraph section? Created attachment 190381 [details] Screenshot with object selected and direction buttons grayed out Screenshot.
Actually, it's even "worse" - the direction buttons are grayed out even for a single selected object (and no button is pressed, i.e. direction is not represented; and that is unlike, say, the alignment buttons). Seeing this with: Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 3161a6c351a2f5f70c0420ee8cccf2eb23de1ecf CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: he-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US and Version: 7.6.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 56f7684011345957bbf33a7ee678afaf4d2ba333 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US
OK, I didn't have CTL turned on in Tools > Options > Languages. I can now see those buttons, but you are right, they are greyed out when an object is selected. They are only active when in edit mode.
