Description Eyal Rozenberg 2023-10-06 08:30:22 UTC
If you select multiple drawing objects on an Impress slide, the sidebar properties deck grays-out the direction buttons (LTR/RTL) - while not graying out paragraph properties like h-alignment, spacing etc. That shouldn't be the case, and one should definitely be able to the directions of multiple objects.

I can't see those direction buttons, even with the RTL UI turned on with SAL_RTL_ENABLED=1

Are they supposed to be in the Paragraph section?

Actually, it's even "worse" - the direction buttons are grayed out even for a single selected object (and no button is pressed, i.e. direction is not represented; and that is unlike, say, the alignment buttons).

Seeing this with:

OK, I didn't have CTL turned on in Tools > Options > Languages. I can now see those buttons, but you are right, they are greyed out when an object is selected. They are only active when in edit mode.
