Description:
When i want to open for example a xlsx or pptx it becomes unresponsive and crashes everytime. But, if i open LibreOffice first, they will open normally. Image attached for an example.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to a files location
2.Double click
3.Crashes

Actual Results:
App becomes unresponsive

Expected Results:
File opens normally


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: Yes

Oppening LibreOffice app first doesn't fix the issue anymore after i deleted user profiles.

Can you please update Windows and see if you can still reproduce? I am asking because, in the dump analysis you shared, I see version 10.0.22621.1, which is a preview build from 2022 (if read that well).

I am on 23H2 (22631.3085) and problem is still there. The fix i found that helps me right now is just using the slightly older version. I am using 7.5.9.2 and i don't have the problem. But if i update to the newer version, problem still occurs.

Problem still happens on the new 24.2 , reverting to 7.5.9.2 still fixes it

I wonder if this is the same as bug 157135 as it is seen by Turkish users. It is caused by LightProof grammar checker. Removing the grammar checker would solve the issue.

I did untick Hunspell,Lightproof,Libhyphen,Mythes language modules from the Tools > Options > Language Settings > Writing Aids but didn't help

Possibly you need to move out the Lightproof Python script from its directory (I don't have access to Windows at the moment, so I don't remember the location).

(hm actually, wait for an extra build after 2024-02-28, to make sure it includes the fix. Alternatively, you can straight away use a daily master build: https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html)
