Description:
I tried to italic and normal versions of Greek letters and they all look the same.

Actual Results:
Greek letters look the same

Expected Results:
Italic versions of letters

Sorry, by design and => NAB

At the LibreOffice 5.4 release for bug 105483 default 'GreekCharStyle' was set to mode 2, which places lowercase symbols italic and uppercase sysmbols upright.

Individual lowercase Greek symbols can be forced upright in the sm Math module by prepending "nitalic" to the element.  

Alternatively you can set 'GreekCharStyle' value to "0" by expert configuration from Tools -> Options -> Advanced
