Description: I’ve now figured out the bug, that makes the cursor jump to the last heading when moving paragraphs/list-items up/down: 1. Start in safe-mode, so you know that the bug isn’t only happening in your user profile 2. Tools → Options → LibreOffice Writer (tab on the left) → View → Enable „Show-outline folding buttons“ 3. Create a heading 4. Below that, create a list with some items 5. Move an item up or down (with hotkeys or buttons) 6. Cursor jumps to the heading above Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start in safe-mode, so you know that the bug isn’t only happening in your user profile 2. Tools → Options → LibreOffice Writer (tab on the left) → View → Enable „Show-outline folding buttons“ 3. Create a heading 4. Create a list with some items 5. Move the items up or down (with hotkeys or buttons) 6. Cursor jumps to the heading above Actual Results: Cursor jumps to the heading above Expected Results: Cursor shouldn't jump to the heading Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 7.6.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 60(Build:1) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (en_US.utf8); UI: en-US 7.6.2-3 Calc: threaded
Basically the bug is related to the folding feature that can enable in the options. If it's enabled, the bug happens, if it's disabled, the bug doesn't happen.

It's still happening, the bug is exactly the same in the current version in Manjaro Linux, which is the following: Version: 7.6.4.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 60(Build:1) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.6; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (en_US.utf8); UI: en-US 7.6.4-2 Calc: threaded

The fix for bug 154701 is only in 24.2 as you can see from its Whiteboard and commit notification. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 154701 ***
