Description bananabodhi@wavecable.com 2023-12-03 20:10:40 UTC
Description:
Special Characters (using colored Segoe UI Emoji Font) that are inserted above text "chapter"/section titles used to print in color, but now print in black only, though they DO appear in color in writer?!

Steps to Reproduce:
1.PLACE CURSER WHERE I WANT TO INSERT SPECIAL CHARACTER IN TEXT
2.MENU/INSERT/SPECIAL CHARACTER
3.CHOOSE CHARACTER IN FONT SELECTION/CLICK INSERT

Actual Results:
Special characters in writer document are in color, but now print in black & white.
Other "emoji" or similar images inserted in the document, as well as photos DO print in color.

Expected Results:
Special characters that are colored should print in color!

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
My printer is an EPSON ET-8500 with full-color capability.

This is reproducible. But I do not think it was ever printed in color.
Emojis and symbols were not printed at all, now they are black.
This may be bug 105488.
