Description Luke 2023-12-05 00:27:42 UTC
Hi

I am working in an ODF document which has a number of images, some smaller, some larger. Unfortunately, due to a limitation in libreoffice, the first page has a very large image.

When working on the document, sometimes just scrolling, sometimes clicking on an image, sometimes pasting a new image, Writer hangs and has to be forcibly terminated.

I am reluctant to compress the images because the document has to be published as PDF and I would rather avoid reducing the image quality too much.
Comment 1 Luke 2023-12-05 00:33:21 UTC
The issues do not seem to show with the large image on the first page, but rather when scrolling further in the document, for images that are inside or anchored to a table that spans multiple pages.

Please attach a sample file, and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is an icon to copy.
