Hello,

Background: My wife works a lot with LibreOffice and she often receives MS Office files from customers which she then has to edit.

For example, she is currently working on a pptx file that takes several minutes to load. It is a small file of 5 MB. However, this effect of the long loading time is only after the last update to 7.6.3.2.

With the previous version of LibreOffice, loading the file only took seconds.

I also tried the AppImage version of the current LibreOffice. Same effect: Loading time over Minutes. When using the stable version (AppImage), loading takes only seconds.

Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode

In safe mode the file opens immediately. No waiting times of minutes. Just as it was in the previous version of LO (i.e. before 7.6.4)

Then reset the profile at opening in safe mode, or with some of the options for a partial reset.

At rare time at updating some corruption on the profile happens, being difficult to find it.

I made a reset of the profile, but the result is the same: the file took minutes to load. I have also tried other options, but also without success.

I can't understand how it works in safe mode and not with a reset profile.
