Everytime I want to access the options in Writer it hangs. This has happened in both the RPM that came with Fedora 39 and the Flatpak package. Other options in the hamburger menu do seem to work. Using the shortcut alt+F12 does nothing. I am using the Gnome desktop and I have turned off all my extensions just in case one was interfering but the same hang happens.

Hello, I came across this bug report. I've been experiencing the same issue. Whenever I click the Options menu in either the RPM or Flatpak versions of LibreOffice, the app hangs before displaying a dialog box to Force Quit or Wait. I have tried opening LibreOffice in Safe Mode, and the same issue occurs in Safe Mode. I have also tried to reset it to factory settings, purge install and config / caches and reinstall. Nothing seems to remedy it. I even tried to downgrade the package via DNF from 7.6.4.1 to 7.6.2.1, but the issue persists.
