Description Regina Henschel 2023-12-11 15:12:02 UTC
Open attachment 191359 [details] from bug 158640. It contains a comment, a Math object and two text boxes, one of them with rounded corners.

To get rounded corners of a text box, move the mouse to the left-top corner of the text box, so that the mouse pointer becomes a finger. Press mouse button and drag the handle to the right. The handle for rounded corners is a little bit larger than the resize handle.

Click on the comment. You can see the same handle as in case of the text box, but you cannot drag it.
Click on the text box with rounded corners. Click on 'Clone formatting' and then click on the comment. The comment shape gets rounded corners.

If it is intended, that a comment can have rounded corners, then the behavior of the handle needs to be fixed.

If it is intended, that a comment cannot have rounded corners, then the feature should be totally removed and not only dragging of the handle been disabled.

@Regina, not seeing a Comment in the test doc. Also not listed in the Navigator. Wrong attachment?

OK, so confirmed with STR

But the comment (ScPostit) is already a "special" drawing shape on a calc sheet assigned its own style "Note", so while it can take the DF cloned from the text box with rounded corners its object type does not include the 'Slant and Corner Radius' of other text object frames.

An attribute omission when the comment's (CaptionObj) was implemented?
