It was reproduced in 7.6.4. It was also reproduced in Safe Mode.
The following software installed on the same PC could open PDFs without any issues: - Adobe Reader - Sumatra PDF - Firefox web browser - MS Edge web browser

The following is information about the LibO that I am using. Version: 7.6.4.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: e19e193f88cd6c0525a17fb7a176ed8e6a3e2aa1 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: ja-JP (ja_JP); UI: ja-JP Calc: threaded
It is curious. Saburo has Windows Build 22621 and you have Build 19045. Might be a long shot, but I wonder if updating Windows would help?
I have confirmed the reproducibility of the issue with the following version. Version: 24.2.0.0.beta1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 5f390384195b7264c6e52add9e90a39790285249 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: ja-JP (ja_JP); UI: ja-JP Calc: threaded However, there were differences in some aspects of the phenomenon. When importing a PDF, the Draw document displayed did not contain the text "This PDF file ~~~~ opened." and instead, a completely blank document was shown. This behavior seems to occur in a Windows environment, including unidentified factors, when combined with relatively recent versions of LibreOffice. On the other hand, even in the same Windows environment, LibreOffice 5.4.7 can open PDFs without being affected.
(In reply to jun meguro from comment #12) > On the other hand, even in the same Windows environment, LibreOffice 5.4.7 > can open PDFs without being affected. Then can you please consider bibisecting the issue to find a code change related to it? https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bibisect https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bibisect/Windows https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bibisect/Bibisecting_tutorial
Jun, is what is your Windows account name? Is there an accent in it by any chance? Aruñas reports that it makes a difference for them in bug 160260.
Sorry for the late reply. My username does not contain special characters, but it does contain Japanese multibyte characters. Example C:\Users\目黒純
Thank you for the reply! Yes, that sounds like the same issue. Please test in version 24.2.4 or above and let us know if it is not resolved. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 160260 ***
I have confirmed that PDFs can be successfully imported into Draw in version 24.2.4. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the fix.
