Screenshot showing the problem

Steps to reproduce:
1) Create an empty Calc document
2) Merge cells A1:A2 and make sure vertical alignment is set to "Center" (which is the default)
3) Now copy some raw text from somewhere else (for instance, open a text editor such as Kate and type "Text"; now copy this "Text" and paste it into the merged cells)
4) Notice that the lower half of "Text" is not visible

See attached image showing the problem.

Scrolling the document or zooming in/out will refresh the screen and show the remainder of the "Text".
