If you turn on printing of comments in the printer dialogue or via the Options>Writer>Print, and select printing of comments in the margins, the Print Preview doesn't show that any comments will be printed. If you use the system Print dialogue however, the preview provided in that dialogue can be trusted, and shows the comments in the margins.
