Menu ˋInsert → Fontwork → Click an arbitrary one like "Simple"ˊ » "Fontwork appears in DRAWing 5. ˋCouble click Layer Tab "Layout" → Uncheck "Visible" → [OK]ˊ » Expected: Nothing happens Actual: Fontwork disappears 😥 Additional info a) Fontwork has become wrongly inserted into Layer "Layout" instead of "adds" b) Other Elements like Drawings, Pictures, Text fields are not affected. ODF has no default set of layers and it totally up to the application how it presents the layers to the user. This is a bug. A Fontwork shape is the same as the other custom shapes in view of ODF. If you drag a Fontwork shape from the Gallery to the document, it will be placed on the active layer.
When you set the environment variable GALLERY_SHOW_HIDDEN_THEMES, you can drag the preset Fontwork shapes from the Gallery.
