Potential dupe of https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155266

Please report back how 7.6.4 behaves for you: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/

I agree that this is most likely a duplicate of tdf#155266. There is a fix for tdf#155266 but, unfortunately, the fix will not be available until the LibreOffice 7.6.5 release next month (February 2024).

Thank you to the bug filer for confirming that LibreOffice 7.5.8 does not have the bug.

For any other people who are experiencing this bug but do not want to revert to an older version, there is a temporary workaround for LibreOffice 7.5.9 and 7.6.4 while we are waiting for LibreOffice 7.6.5: switch to Skia/Metal rendering.

To enable Skia/Metal rendering, do the following steps:

1. Open the Options dialog by selecting the LibreOffice > Preferences menu
2. Select LibreOffice > View in the left panel
3. In the right panel, check the "Use Skia for all rendering" and uncheck "Force Skia software rendering" checkboxes as shown in the following screen snapshot:

4. Press the "OK" button and restart if prompted
