Description:
1. create an unordered list in a Word 2003 or Word 2007 document.
2. enter text on base line.
3. hit return to get to next line in list, then hit tab to create a sub element.
Error occurs - sib element is converted to ordered element, AND you cannot convert to unordered element using toolbar or attempting to use toolbar Shift tool.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create an unordered list in a Word 2003 or Word 2007 document.
2. enter text on base line.
3. hit return to get to next line in list, then hit tab to create a sub element.


Actual Results:
    • Deep snow calls for snowshoes or skis.
        1. 

Expected Results:
The line shown as 1. above should have a level 2 bullet

Verified as presenting the bug. First noticed after the last line of the list, but was able to reproduce using other lines.

Further note - OS is Win 10 Po.

Screenshot list style

The list style has set up on the second level with numbers not bullets.
Same behavior with
Microsoft® Word para Microsoft 365 MSO (versión 2312 compilación 16.0.17126.20132) de 64 bits 

Edit list style and set up second and the rest of levels with bullet.

Not a bug for me.

Agreed. If this is expected Microsoft behavior, it's not a bug  It's dilly, but not a bug.
