I can only test with Windows. But if I open document and change setting of "Application Colors" to "Dark", most characters are still black like in attachment 192145 [details]. But this is the "expected" result, because font color of those characters is "black" and not "automatic". So question is (I can't test it), if font color in MS Word is also "black" or "automatic"
Looking at word/document.xml, it does seem black colour has been explicitly set: <w:p> <w:pPr> <w:pStyle w:val="Normal"/> <w:spacing w:lineRule="auto" w:line="240" w:before="0" w:after="0"/> <w:rPr></w:rPr> </w:pPr> <w:r> <w:rPr> <w:rFonts w:eastAsia="Arial" w:cs="Arial" w:ascii="Arial" w:hAnsi="Arial"/> <w:color w:val="000000"/> <w:sz w:val="20"/> <w:lang w:val="en-US"/> </w:rPr> <w:t>Sed ut perspiciatis, unde omnis iste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremque laudantium, totam rem aperiam eaque ipsa, quae ab illo inventore veritatis et quasi architecto beatae vitae dicta sunt, explicabo. Downloading it and opening in LibreOffice, I can see the font colour is Automatic.
