Description: Settings > Security > Certificate Manager > Browse should open applications folder instead of usr/bin Steps to Reproduce: Open Settings > Security > Certificate Manager > Browse on macOS. Affected version is probably the first whenever the option to select a Certificate Manager was introduced. Unsure when that was. Actual Results: finder view with /usr/bin preselected does open. Expected Results: On macOS applications are kept in the applications folder. It would thus be better to pre-select that folder for users to choose their Certificate Manager. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 6b6849107562b258aa8858e94ff3c07160f07062 CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 13.6.4; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx Locale: en-US (en_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
I confirm the issue in question and side with steve. On macOS, instead of preselecting per default /usr/bin, I find it better to preselect per default either (if installed and found automatically per search path) the GPG Keychain.app in /Applications/GPG Keychain.app or, as fallback or last resort, either the Keychain Access.app in /System/Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access.app or, alternatively, the /Applications folder.
