A number of bugs with connectors can be traced back to the following commit. They seem like regressions, but they're generally implementation errors, because connectors used to be imported as shapes before this commit, see eg. bug 157947 comment 6. Let's collect all the bugs bibisected to the following commit here.

@gadgetpig This is a collective bug report for a category of issues, the actual bugs are the ones listed in the Depends on field. I'm going to mark the attachment as obsolete, because it doesn't belong here.
