Description: For better control I set line numbering to texts which I want to print out later without line numbers. Character style "line numbering" can be applied for font change, color, other format. But after choosing ☒Hidden line numbering will not be hidden - contrary to other text which was formatted as "line numbering". Similar problem of "Transparency 100%". . Behavior is obviously inherited from OpenOffice. A test on OOO 3.4.1 and AOO 4.1.15 had the same result. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Insert text (Writer) 2. Apply "Line Numbering" (menu Tools) 3. Edit "Line Numbering" character style, choose ☒Hidden 4. Check in print preview or print-out (into PDF file) Actual Results: Line numbers are not hidden (as they should be) Expected Results: Line numbers should be hidden and not printable Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.6.5.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 60(Build:2) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 4:7.6.5-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~lo1 Calc: threaded . Could confirm the buggy behavior. It is impossible to hide line numbering, because it won't follow the character style → Effects: Hidden.
