hi, It would be incredibly useful if we could see a style's details... that is, the same window that we see when we edit it... only without the editing functionality (being able to changing anything).. Why? Cause pretty frequently you don't want to "Edit a style", but see what it has... Editing a style is sometimes a disaster, cause it can cut off that style from the template... And once you're editing it, you only have to press "okay" or "save", and you have edited it (locally, off the template)... Just viewing it would be a much-much better "user experience" :) :) - - - thank you for developing Libreoffice and Writer - - -
Sorry, can't you see them in the Sidebar, selecting Properties?
The Sidebar deck "Style Inspector" provides exactly that information. Hopefully that covers what you're after, Peter. https://help.libreoffice.org/24.8/en-US/text/swriter/01/style_inspector.html
