Description Robert Großkopf 2024-03-07 19:54:13 UTC
Open a new file in Draw.
Set the page format → paper format → A0 (ca. 85 cm * 120 cm).
Draw a rectangle.
Open the properties.
Set position X to 50 cm.
Set position Y to 50 cm.
Position X will show 34.74 cm here.
Position Y will show 39.54 cm here.
You couldn't position the rectangle more to the right and more to the bottom with sidebar.

No problem to set both position to 50 cm in the dialog for position. But the sidebar then will show the wrong values.

Tested the same with LO 7.2.5.1. Bug doesn't appear. So a regression.
Tested also with LO 7.6.4.1. Bud doesn't appear. Seems it is a bug of the new LO 24.2 only.

I cannot reproduce the problem in a daily build. Tested with
Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 0daeee1a7d0e530f1cce40f86a26ed01f07ee7da
CPU threads: 32; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22631; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded
Comment 3 Robert Großkopf 2024-03-08 07:17:58 UTC
Have tested with Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: ff113b34dd6f54765995440cbedd27483fadb844
CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 5.14; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Couldn't reproduce now.

Then tested with other languages and LO 24.2.1.2 - couldn't reproduce also.
Reset user profile: The same, couldn't be reproduced.
Then with old profile and German language - also no reproducable.
Seems the bug has gone with the wind.

I will set it to WORKSFORME. Don't know what happened to get this buggy behavior and what happened to leave it …
