Description: Meeple Mountain uses Google Docs for collaboration. When using Google Docs, I have found it very useful to use their 'pageless' option. In most other instances, I use LibreOffice. I find this 'pageless' option useful enough that I would like to see LibreOffice Writer include it. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open LibreOffice Writer 2. Go to page setup 3. There is no option for working 'pageless' Actual Results: There is no option for working 'pageless' Expected Results: There is no option for working 'pageless' Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I would like an option to work 'pageless'
Thanks for the suggestion. Have you tried: - View > Web View? - View > Whitespace (turned off)? Do any of these match what you are looking for?
Not exactly. But it is close enough to warrant closing my suggestion as being juice that is not worth the squeeze, as it were.

As I see it, the main difference with Web View is that Google Docs allows changing the text width easily from View > Text Width, with four options available: Narrow, Medium, Wide, Full. Adding that kind of control would be useful, in my opinion, as the continuous Web View's default full width is not comfortable to read.(Google Doc's default is "Narrow".) It is possible to play with the rulers, but that completely messes up the Normal view when switching back. Closing as "not a bug", but please feel free to open another report to add the Width functionality to Web View.
