Description vakevk@gmail.com 2024-03-09 17:38:27 UTC
Description:
Arch Linux 6.7.8, Wayland Sway, LibreOffice 24.2.1.2 420(Build:2)

Running `libreoffice` from the command line shows the splash screen for a split second, then nothing happens. The process doesn't exist but no window opens.
`libreoffice --calc` shows the splash screens and keeps showing the splash screen. Nothing else happens.
`libreoffice --safe-mode --calc` works.
I'm using calc as an example. Happens with all of them.

This is with a fresh profile (deleted `~/.config/libreooffice`, and reset profile in safe mode dialog).

Thanks for the report.
Could you maybe collect a backtrace?
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#GNU/Linux

Does it happen only when launching from the command line, or does it also happen when launching with the GUI app launcher?
Comment 2 vakevk@gmail.com 2024-03-25 21:31:14 UTC
Tried it again today to get the backtrace but I couldn't reproduce the bug anymore.

Thanks for reporting back.
Marking as "works for me" as "fixed" is when a fixing patch has been identified.
