Beim Markieren von Wörtern springt der Cursor selbständig ein paar Zeilen. DAs selbe passiert wenn ich nur den Cursor in einem Satz platzieren will. Auch wenn ich Stellen Markiere um zu Kopieren. Danach reagiert das Program nicht auf meine Befehle für ca. 10- 15 Sekunden. kein scrollen möglich etc. 
Hatte viel bessere Erfahrung mit der gratis Variante.

When you select words, the cursor automatically jumps a few lines. The same thing happens if I just want to place the cursor in a sentence. Even if I mark places to copy. Afterwards the program does not respond to my commands for about 10-15 seconds. no scrolling possible etc.

I downloaded the version 7.6.5.2 (X86 64) for Mac OS just yesterday and it works perfectly.
Deleted the version I bought.
Also the Version I bought on the AppStore use more than 3GB! The free version only about 900MB.

I think this is a duplicate of bug 155266, others had similar issues with text selection (e.g. bug 159361, bug 159357, bug 159231)

The app store should be moving to 7.6 (or 24.2) soon.

The app store version has to bundle many language packs, hence the bigger size.
If you want to keep using the app store version, you can use this workaround while you wait for the new version to come: bug 159414 comment 2.
