Created attachment 193205 [details] Screenshot option on exporting as PDF With the options in the attached screenshot, works for me. Version: 24.2.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: bf759d854b5ab45b6ef0bfd22e51c6dc4fb8b882 CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22631; UI render: default; VCL: win Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded If doesn't work for you, please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode
I cannot confirm with Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 2887ffbf240aa70330cb50bf810170cf9c896405 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: cs-CZ (cs_CZ.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Jumbo I can see checkboxes, but these checkboxes are not checked [X] in Evince. Everything is correct in Firefox.
I don´ t want to create a pdf form to work with it as PDF-File. The result should be a pdf file with crosses in the check boxes that can not be changed. For this you must not allow to create a PDF Form in the PDF options. As you can see in the attached files it did work in l-office 7.6.5.2 an all former releases. I worked with that kind of files more than 10 Years in l-office. I already saw that i can use different check boxes in the new release but it would be a lot of work for me to change all of my files i am using in my business. And i think it should work in the same way like it did in older versions.
It works for me with or without "Create PDF form" in version 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ and Version: 24.2.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: da48488a73ddd66ea24cf16bbc4f7b9c08e9bea1 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: cs-CZ (cs_CZ.UTF-8); UI: cs-CZ Calc: threaded please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode
same problem in safe mode. Check boxes do only appear when "create PDF Form" is active. The result is a pdf form without any crosses in the check boxes. Waht i need is a pdf file without forms and fixed crosses in the check boxes.
Looking at the ODT form--File.odt--in the test kit (attachment 193201 [details]). Confirmed that on os/DE or ps printing (i.e. not the "Create PDF form" action) the check boxes of the document are *no longer* being printed in 24.2 builds. Verified they had been when checking against a 6.4.7, 7.5.9 and 7.6.5 build so regression at 24.2 The checkbox controls are present on export creation of PDF form (either FDF or PDF). The controls also show on the preview Print mode, but do not in the Print... dialog's thumbnail view. (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #7) Just checked the 2024-03-18 nightly against 24.8.0, printing issue seems resolved at this point. Also need a reverse bibisect and backport to 24.2?
Can't repro using Version: 24.2.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: bf759d854b5ab45b6ef0bfd22e51c6dc4fb8b882 CPU threads: 24; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22631; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded

Please install the "prerelease" 24.2.2.1 build and retest. And if resolved, guess this can go WFM at 24.2.2
Was it for work on bug 159452 to revert 9bad5be with this patch? Added btwn 24.2.1 and 24.2.2 https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/162729

Added btwn > 24.2.1 and 24.2.2 > > https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/162729 But, maybe fix for bug 159817 and bug 159802 is the better choice: https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/164328 to revert https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/153966 affecting positioning of check boxes, but also radio buttons, combo boxes, and tab pages. I did notice in my testing attempts against a different simpler two check box form ODT, at 24.2.1 that the Check box's were present but misplaced to center line and below the printed form fields. But the check boxes were simply missing on printing from the Writer file.odt in attachment 193201 [details]
Going to dupe to bug 159802 pretty clearly the same issue, resolved with the 24.2.2.1 build and 10346f5ff6f0ab6e3b2deb709e4f3e9cc49bf80c commit. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 159802 ***
@ V Stuart Foote , "prerelease" 24.2.2.1 everything seem to be okay. So i will wait for stable 24.2.2
