hi, 

It'd be great if we could export out settings.

Imagine: tools / options...
and after you have set what and how you want...
you could select in that menu (Tools / options): "EXPORT settings"

I'd love that :)

and the same with customization...

to import them on a second laptop?

As a workaraound you could copy file from your profile 

But let's ask design-team

Utility already provided in the SafeMode dialog, just needs direct button action. Then maybe a tweak to control location.
